The Chou² project

HOW DID THE IDEA COME ABOUT?
My name is Victoria, and I founded Chou² simply because I've always worn a scrunchie every day. It's the first accessory I learned to sew, under the watchful and caring eye of my mother. I've lost count of the number of scrunchies I've made for my sisters, my friends, and more.
Until I decided to launch my own business and create Chou², a brand of colorful, upcycled, girly accessories made in France. First scrunchies, then fanny packs, and tomorrow caps!
The goal? To create a brand for the fashion of tomorrow: as cool as it is responsible, and at the right price.

ECO-RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS
Limiting our ecological impact means using low-impact raw materials. To achieve this, we've chosen to upcycle high-end fabrics . Specifically, we recycle the end of rolls and production scraps from traditional fashion houses: silks, velvets from LVMH, Agnès B, etc.
The result? Instead of producing new material, we recycle existing material.

FRENCH AND SOLIDARITY-BASED MANUFACTURE
All Chou² accessories are made in France, in our two partner workshops in Lyon and Paris. These are integration workshops, in which around ten seamstresses work on our scrunchies and bananas.
These are therefore accessories that are fully part of a supportive and eco-responsible approach.
Chou² does not present itself as a perfect brand. But rather as a brand of tomorrow, for which style alone is no longer enough, if it is not part of a more ecological and united ecosystem.
